Sahaja Yoga is a unique method of meditation based on an experience called Self Realization (Kundalini awakening) that can occur within each human being. Through this process an inner transformation takes place by which one becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced. One can actually feel the all pervading divine power as a cool breeze, as described in all religions and spiritual traditions of the world.

“Every day you should do meditation. Those who do not do meditation are capable of falling down, because meditation is like putting oil into the lamp. Those who do not meditate, think they can do without it, are sadly mistaken. They have to meditate morning and evening. The problem is everything comes so handily, so simple that they don’t understand that meditation is very important.”

Today's class will include a brief introduction to Sahaja Yoga Mediation followed by the experience of Self-Realization.
Sahaja Yoga is a method of meditation that takes you beyond mental, emotional, and physical activity and allows you to experience the true self which lies within.

“Sahaja Yoga means 'born with you'. 'Saha' means with, 'ja' means born. This right to unite with God is born with you. As soon as you are born a human being, this right you have. And that is why human beings are seeking. They are somehow aware of that right.”

What are the benefits of Sahaja Yoga?

Sahaja Yoga meditation works directly on the central nervous system that controls all of our mental, physical and emotional activity. It, therefore, has the potential to dramatically improve our wellbeing by going directly to the source of any problem. The immediate effects of raising the Kundalini, and going into thoughtless awareness, can be felt as a gentle release from our mind and a spontaneous state of bliss where one merely witnesses and enjoys the present moment. However, the effects of reaching this state go far beyond those moments of mental silence.
